Our Story

Established following the merger of four distinct local grocery businesses and supermarket brands in March 2021, Retail Marketing Ltd has swiftly risen to prominence as a leading force in the Maltese grocery and retail sector. The amalgamation of these local companies, with some established since the 1940’s, marked the beginning of a transformative journey, one that culminated in the birth of the Welbee's Supermarkets brand in October 2021. This momentous rebranding was the result of meticulous planning and a collective vision to provide customers with a superior shopping experience, one that blends convenience, quality, and affordability.

Today, Retail Marketing Ltd proudly owns and operates nine Welbee's Supermarkets across Malta, employs over 500 employees and collaborates with local suppliers and importers. The future focus is on growth, constant improvement, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to customer service.
